Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are.
Who is responsible for your data
Post-Death Planning Checklist ("we", "us") runs postdeathplanningchecklist.com. For any question about your data, write to hello@postdeathplanningchecklist.com.
What we collect
Only what you give us when you join the email list: your email address. We also keep the date of sign-up and your consent, as proof that you agreed.
This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies and uses no analytics.
The sign-up form on the Free Checklist page is provided by MailerLite. Its script loads only when you click or tap the form, not when you simply visit the page. Once loaded, it connects your browser to MailerLite servers and saves a random identifier (ml_guid) in your browser's local storage, which MailerLite uses to handle the sign-up. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Why we use it
To send you the free checklist you asked for and occasional emails about related books and updates. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time; this does not affect emails sent before.
Who processes it for us
The email list is run by MailerLite (UAB MailerLite, Lithuania), which stores and sends the emails on our behalf under a data processing agreement. If you write to us, your message is stored in our mailbox. We never sell or share your data with anyone else.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. To deliver the pages and protect the site against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type. We do not use this data to identify you.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe we keep only what is needed to respect your choice.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or write to hello@postdeathplanningchecklist.com. You may also complain to a data protection authority.
Links to Amazon and government sites
The planner button leads to Amazon, and the checklist links to official government and charity websites. What happens there is covered by their own privacy notices.
General information only
Nothing on this site or in the checklist is legal, financial, tax or medical advice.
